The nearest golf course is 12 kilometers away, with the best known ones close to the coast. The airport is close to Faro which can take around 30 minutes by car.
In Salir you can already find many services such as schools, pharmacies, police, health centre, supermarkets, fire department.
In terms of access, the roads are good and the internet and mobile phone signal is good.
